Living at LYF Springs

LYF Springs is located at 22564 NE Woodmen of the World Rd. in Hosford, Florida. It is a 40 acre plot of land located directly across from the Apalachicola National Forest and was developed with the intention of sharing wilderness experiences with youth throughout the United States and beyond. LYF Inc. continues to develop the property for existing and future activities that can be utilized for individuals with a range of abilities and interests. The campus was designed with two dormitories with bunks and communal bathrooms, a large lodge with commercial kitchen, pavilions, a multipurpose classroom, and several other useful structures. Along with amenities utilized by campers, the property also houses 17 RV plots with complete water, sewer and electrical hook-ups. While some areas are cleared for sporting activities, other more natural areas are surrounded by pine, oak, cypress, and magnolia trees, a perfect environment for enjoying Florida’s natural resources.

At LYF Springs you can bet your camper will love our camp-inspired student-led cooking. Each day campers assist in preparing meals that everyone looks forward to after a busy day of work and activities. Meal examples include:

LYF also realizes that some campers require specialized meal prep. We are capable of helping with gluten free cooking as well as alternative nourishment such as g-tube feeding. Please do not hesitate to ask us what we can do to make your camper's stay a  fulfilling one.
